There's no need to limit yourself to July & August if you want hot, sunny weather! Spring & early Autumn still offer great weather. Just right for exploring all the delights of the Lycean region. Inside the property
Our beautiful 3-storey villa was built to very high specifications by a reputable building contractor in 2004. This luxurious property, with its own private pool, has been furnished to a very high standard. Let us assure you we have provided all those little extras that make a holiday property comfortable and enjoyable.
As soon as you approach Villa Barinak you will see the quality of construction, with carved masonry arches, columns and beautiful entrance gate. Marble flooring and stonework feature throughout. It has 3 front-facing bedrooms (all en-suite), villa-wide air-conditioning and two verandas with unrestricted views of Kalkan & Kalamar bays and the surrounding hills. The roof terrace has a beautiful cushioned ottoman area with covered pergola
Outside the property
The villa has its own private pool (no shallow end), with sun loungers, parasols and outdoor dining furniture.
About the local area
The property is situated at the front of a small select development of privately owned apartments (15) and villas (2), which have all been built to the same high specifications. There is an impressive pool with children's area belonging to the apartments which villa guests are also free to make use of. The development is bordered by 'green land', where olive trees abound and no building is allowed, thus allowing unrestricted views.
The beauty of our villa is that it is the best of both worlds: your own private residence with pool, yet you benefit from the excellent services on site, including an English-speaking member of staff to greet you and help with your every need. 24-hour security & maintenance are also included.
Traveling to the property
The property is ideally located on the quiet outskirts of the picturesque and unspoilt village of Kalkan, yet it's only about a 10 minute walk to the centre & 15 minute walk to the nearest beach and delightful little harbour. A short drive or boat trip away are the beaches at Kaputas, which is dramatically set at the bottom of a gorge, and Patara, 18km of beautiful sand and little else set in a nature reserve. Patara is where St. Nicholas (Father Christmas) was born! Both Kalkan and Kalamar Bays have excellent 'beach' clubs, where platforms have been built into the rocks. You sunbathe in comfort and access the clean clear waters directly. Snack bar, toilets & showers are on site and water sports are available. Some offer a free one-way taxi service to clubs.
Kalkan is a magical place that captivates its visitors, making it very hard to leave!
