Perfect for families, small or large groups, Executive breaks. Casa Alfonso (3 villas sleeping 10-12 and 1 cottage sleeping 4; rented altogether or independently) offers quality self-catering accommodation with swimming pool, tennis and fronton courts and direct access to River Esera, close to lake Barasona, in peaceful surroundings with fantastic views. If you are looking for a holiday in Spain that's just a little different from the ordinary, Casa Alfonso in the Spanish Pyrenees is a wonderful place for unforgettable holidays, all year.
Inside the property
Bedrooms can be re-arranged if required. We can also provide additional beds and/or cots for younger children.
Hydromassage baths in the Chalets.
Casa Sur has been designed to accommodate large groups wishing to eat together indoors.
Large groups can enjoy outdoors BBQs in the gardens.
The services of a cook can be arranged for anniversaries, celebrations or arrival meal, etc if you provide us with sufficient notice.
Bed linen and towels are changed once a week. Fans are available if you need them.
Outside the property
The complex is set in attractive, 2.5 acre gardens with an apple orchard, which feature a large swimming pool, a tennis court and have direct access to the River Esera. The decor includes tasteful furnishings with traditional Pyrenian log burning stoves for winter breaks.
The pool is 20 x 9 m and 1m x 2.5 m deep.
The tennis court also doubles as Fronton court (a popular Basque sport,cross between tennis and squash).
About the local area
The area is full of beautiful flora and fauna and if you are keen on mushroom hunting then autumn here is hard to beat.
There are plenty of activities available locally including canoing, fishing, walking, horse-riding, tennis, rafting, paragliding and skiing as well as excellent restaurants, the vineyards of Somontano, local markets with great variety of fruit and vegetables.
A visit to the spectacular Basilica Virgen De La Penya above Graus provides a fabulous vantage point to look out over the town to the Pyrenees in the North.
There also are many local fiestas fares and cultural activities to enjoy throughout the year including the famous Feria de la Longaniza at the end of July.
Traveling to the property
From Barcelona;
take A-2 motorway to Lerida. Take N-230 to Benabarre, then head for Graus N-123
Graus;
0.5 km after you leave town you will come to a very large everygreen hedge on your right.
